Danny Brown of the baseball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending March 16.

Brown made two appearances on the hill, both in relief, and posted a 1-0 record with a 0.00 earned run average in six innings pitched. He only allowed one hit and recorded four strikeouts. Brown tossed 1.1 innings against Saint Leo and allowed one hit and he fanned a batter. In the series opener at North Georgia, he tossed 4.2 innings in relief to earn the win. He fanned three batters and the only blemish on his line was having a hitter reach base on an error. Brown held opponents to a .050 batting average.

Brown ranks sixth in the PBC in strikeouts per nine innings (9.75).
