Camp Bissell (Orlando, Fla., Timber Creek HS) of the men’s soccer team was selected as the Student-Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Augustine, for the month of October.

Bissell was selected as the Student-Athlete of the Week on Oct. 16.

Bissell played and started in all nine matches in the month of October and helped lead the Saints to a 7-1-1 record. The freshman goalkeeper posted a 1.08 goals against average and recorded four shutouts. He tallied 33 saves and had a .767 save percentage.

Flagler finished the season by reaching the elite eight of the NCAA Division II National Tournament and closed with a record of 17-3-3.
