Laura McKnight of the women's cross country team has been selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Nov. 21.

McKnight ran a school-record time of 24:32.6 over a 6K course at the NCAA Division II Southeast Region Championships at Queens University of Charlotte last Saturday. She finished 52nd overall and led the Flagler contingent. McKnight also helped lead Flagler to a 16th place finish.

Last month, McKnight earned All-Academic Peach Belt Conference honors for her excellence in the classroom and on the course.
