AUGUSTA, Ga. - Marley Middlebrooks and Jilly Young of the Flagler College volleyball team were named back-to-back Peach Belt Conference Player and Setter of the week after another undefeated weekend at the PBC-GSC Crossover.

The Saints defeated Mississippi Christian College, University of Montevallo, and University of Alabama-Huntsville. Middlebrooks and Young both finished with match highs in the last match.

MARLEY MIDDLEBROOKS
Middlebrooks helped lead the Saints to another undefeated tournament weekend with 53 kills while averaging 4.07 pet set. Made two assists, 45 digs, and four blocks, also achieved three more double-doubles in a row. In the match five set match against Mississippi Christian, she produced 20 kills and 17 digs. For the Montevallo sweep, she grabbed 10 kills and 10 digs. In a long five set win against Alabama-Huntsville, she totaled 23 kills, two assists, 18 digs and four blocks.

The Panama City, Florida native leads the Peach Belt Conference in points (198) and kills (174/4.05 per set).

Middlebrooks is now No. 9 for total kills in the NCAA Division II.
 
JILLY YOUNG
On the weekend, Young commanded the assists for the Saints with 93 while averaging 7.75 assists per set. For the first day of the tournament, she tallied 20 assists with one ace and three digs in the five-set win against Mississippi Christian. In the sweep against Montevallo, she had 23 assists with two aces and five digs. For the intense five set match up with Alabama-Huntsville, she totaled 50 assists, two kills, one ace and nine digs

The Waxhax, North Carolina native, currently leads the Peach Belt in assists with 361 and 8.80 per set
