CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The No. 13 (SCOREBOARD Division II ranking by clippd) Flagler College women's golf team is tied for ninth place with a 22-over par 310 after the first round at the NCAA Division II South Regional, which wrapped up play Monday afternoon at Cleveland Country Club (par 72; 6,036 yards). Due to the forecast of bad weather on Wednesday, the second and third rounds will be played tomorrow with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
 
No. 6 Lynn University leads the 18-team field with a 6-over 294. The Fighting Knights lead by five strokes. No. 1 Wingate University and No. 23 Erskine College are tied for second place with an 11-over 299. No. 11 University of Tampa is in fourth place with a 13-over 301. There is a tie for fifth place between No. 3 Anderson University and No. 10 Barry University. Both are tied at 14-over.
 
Wingate's Olivia Meinecke leads the 96-woman field with a 2-under 70. She holds a two-stroke lead over teammate Amely Bochaton and Leelou Girault of Lynn.

Flagler's Henriette Stranda and Sofi Terzoli are tied for 23^rd place with a 4-over 76. Tabitha Hanely is in a tie for 40^th place with a 5-over 77. Addison King shot a 9-over while Victoria Veator finished at 16-over.
