ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The Flagler College men's lacrosse team held last weeks ranking of No. 18 in this weeks United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division II Top-20 poll, per organization officials.
The Saints had on contest last week which resulted in a monstrous, 15-4 win over Virginia State University. This win extended their win streak to four, with one of those coming from a top-10 opponent. Flagler is the only school representing the Peach Belt Conference in the national rankings.
Through the NCAA, the Saints are No. 16 in Division II on goals allowed per game with 8.54. Flagler is also one of two schools within the top-16 to have played 13 or more games. Senior
Trace McDonald in seventh in Division II on assists per game with 2.46. McDonald is tied for second in the nation in total assists with 32.
Ty Scheckenbach is ranked 50th in the nation in caused turnovers per game with 1.69. Scheckenbach's 22 total caused turnover ties him for 22nd in Division II.
