Game Recap: Men's Lacrosse |

No. 18 Saints take their road contest over the Trojans.

Ettrick, Va. - The Flagler College men's lacrosse team finished their final regular season road contest of the season, defeating Virginia State University 15-4 this afternoon.

The Saints remain undefeated in conference play, as they improve to 9-4 overall. The Trojans dropped to 1-8 overall and 0-3 in conference. Flagler will host their annual "Senior Day" match against University of Montevallo on April 11 at 12 p.m.

Through the match, freshman standout Will Linko, dominated the early game to put the Saints on the path to victory. Linko ended up finishing with a match high four goals while Micah Quinn had a match high five points. Cole Gaudet was the last Saint to finish with a hat trick. At the end of regulation, 13 Saints found at least one point.

At faceoff, the Saints out paced the Trojans 16-22. With seven different Saints taking face, Ryan McLaughlin and Rocco Ruffalo were the only two to go 100% on more than one attempt. Tyler Hayden took the most attempts for Flagler, going 5-7. Eight Saints finished with atleast one caused turnover, while Griffin Moore having two. While in at goal keeper, Wade Lamon was perfect on his two shots saved along with Austin Slade on his four shots shaved.
