ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The Flagler College men's lacrosse team re-entered the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division II Top-20 poll at No. 20 this week, per organization officials.
The Saints were absent from last weeks rankings, receiving only seven votes. This week the Saints accumulated 36 votes, 13 more than the next in line, Belmont Abbey College and three less than No. 19's Saint Michael's College. Flagler is the only team in the Peach Belt Conference to receive any votes towards the rankings.
Over the week, Flagler went 2-0 in their contests against then No. 10 Colorado Mesa University and University of Alabama in Huntsville. The Saints 10-9 win over the Mavericks is their first ranked win of the season. In their conference opener, the Saints defeated the Chargers 14-5.
