Box Score 2 ST. AUGUSTINE -
Jordan Sheets (2-7) suffered a one run loss in the first game of the Peach Belt doubleheader against Georgia College & State University. GSCU won the second game, 11-7 at Flagler Field.
Flagler is now 10-24 overall and 6-9 in the Peach Belt. GCSU is 17-14 overall and 9-6 in conference play. Up next for the Saints is a road game against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Daytona Beach.
In game one, the Saints had opportunities to score in four of the seven innings. They collected a total of three hits and left seven runners on.

In the fourth inning, the Bobcats scored their only run. Sydney Lancaster led off with a single to right field and later scored on Renia Checo's ground out.
Kiley McQuillan and
Stephanie Daly each went 1-for-2 with a single.
Chloe Montalvo went 1-for-3 with a double.

Sheets got the loss for the Saints. She allowed one run on five hits and induced four fly outs, 11 ground outs, and had five strikeouts.
Tiffany Coban (5-4) threw a three-hit shutout win for the Bobcats. She had five strikeouts, 11 fly outs, and five ground outs.
Karlie Gutierrez went 2-for-3 with two singles. Sydney Lancaster had one hit with one run scored.

In game two, the Saints tried to fight back throughout the game, but fell short.

The Bobcats sent 12 batters to the plate in the first inning and scored six runs on six hits. They added three more in the second and one more in the third to take a 10-2 lead.
Ryleigh Hall blasted a three-run homer to try and keep the Saints alive in the fifth inning, 10-5.
The Saints scored two runs in the seventh with one of those coming off an
Annake Meadows double.

Annalise Knop (4-0) grabbed the win for the Bobcats. She gave up eight-hits and allowed five runs in 4.1 innings. Sydney Garrett received her 15
th save of the season.
Addison Black collected three singles and drove in two runs. Gutierrez went 3-for-4 with a double, scored twice, and knocked in two runs. Maddie Todd finished with two singles, one RBI, and she scored two runs. Halley Nobles hit two singles and scored two runs.
Ava Matthews (3-5) got the loss for the Saints. She gave up six runs on six hits in one-third of an inning.Â
Riley Rowe came in to finish the game and gave up five runs on eight hits and produced 12 fly outs and five ground outs.

Ricci went 3-for-4 with three singles and scored twice. Hall went 2-for-4 with a homer, three RBI, and scored one run. Daly went 2-for-3 with two singles and two runs scored. Burns went 2-for-4 with two singles and one run scored.
