ST. AUGUSTINE - For the second consecutive week, the Flagler College women's lacrosse team is ranked No. 1 in this weeks Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association national poll, released this afternoon per organization officials.
Over the week the Saints competed in two contests. Their match of the week came from 14-9 win over No. 8 Lynn University. This is the their third top-10 win of the season. Against Westminster University (Utah), the Saints defeated the Griffins 18-7.
Through the Saints eight games, they have scored 140 goals. Averaging 17.5 points in all contests, the Saints average 15.75 points in ranked contests. On defense, the Saints allow 6.625 goals against.
