ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Senior
Carley Tepel scored her 200th career goal in the Flagler College women's lacrosse team's 21-8 victory over Anderson University (S.C.) this afternoon at the Flagler Lacrosse Field.
Since the 2024 season, Tepel has been sitting at No. 1 in the programs record book in goals scored. The Hollywood, Mayland native currently has 201 career goals. This match Tepel scored five goals and one assist. This is Tepel's second consecutive match with two five goals and third match with five or more points.
The Saints advance to 9-0 on the season while the No. 23 Trojans drop to 6-4. The Saints will travel to face Newberry College on Mar. 14 at 12 p.m.
Flagler's offense was dialed in as they scored 20 plus points for the second time this season.
Jessica Wright led the matches offense as she finished with six goals and three assists.
Mia Cosentino,
Taylor Jendrek and
Ava Lambros each scored two.
The Saints, led by
Greta McGinnis and
Ella Pinder, dominated to the draw control. As a team, Flagler outpaced the Trojans 21-10. McGinnis and Pinder both finished with five wins while Cosentino finished with four. Six remaining Saints notched one.
On defense three Saints in Lambros,
Carly Bagnasco and
Macey Watt had a match high two caused turnovers. Lambros also led the match in ground balls with three. Two Saints saw action in goal with
Dakota Capolino and
Marissa Dolciato. Capolino finished with five saves while Dolciato found one.
