AUGUSTA, Ga. - Sophomore Jonah Smith of the Flagler College men's lacrosse team was named the Peach Belt Conference Men's Lacrossse Defensive Player of the Week , according to conference officials this afternoon.

The Saints competed in two games this past week, going 2-0 against #10 Colorado Mesa University and University of Alabama in Huntsville. Smith's best game came against the Mavericks where he made 18 saves and allowed nine goals. In Flagler's conference opener win, Smith made nine saves and allowed five goals. On the season, the Stevensville native is averaging 7.78 goals against and has a .600 save percentage.
