FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Flagler College men's golf team is in third place after 36 holes after carding a 10-under par 558 (277-281) at the Shark Invitational, which was played at the Grande Oaks Golf Club (par 71; 6,750 yards). The final round begins tomorrow with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.

PJ Herron is in third place with a 7-under 135 (67-68). He recorded six birdies in the first round to go along with 10 pars. Herron added five birdies and 11 pars in the second round. He started round two with a pair of birdies.  

No. 15 (SCOREBOARD by clippd ranking) Nova Southeastern University, the host school, leads the 15-team field with a 29-under 539 (273-266). No. 4 Florida Southern College is in second place with a 14-under 554 (278-276).

There is a tie atop the 84-man leaderboard. Rodrigo Huerta of Nova Southeastern and Colton Swartz of Florida Southern lead the field with an 9-under 133.

Matthew French is in a tie for 4^th place with a 3-under 139 (71-68). Nic Eberhard shot a 1-under 141 (69-72) and is in a tie for 20^th place. Masen McKain is tied for 32^nd place with a 1-over 143 (70-73) and Rocco Randazzo shot 16-over.
