DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Flagler College men's soccer team (7-1-4 overall, 7-0-1 PBC) went on the road Sunday afternoon and took down No. 20 North Georgia (7-2-5 overall, 3-2-4 PBC) by a final score of 2-0. The Saints handed the nationally-ranked Nighthawks their first home loss of the season while the Saints extended their winning streak to four straight matches.

TURNING POINT
Flagler set the tone fast as the visiting Saints found the back of the net within a minute of action.
Dani Freire got behind the Nighthawks backline and beat the keeper to the ball inside the box. Freire chipped a shot over the keeper to put the Saints ahead 1-0.
With a minute to go in the match, the Saints added a key insurance goal. The North Georgia backline attempted to clear a cross in the box, but the header found
Henry Okenla inside the box. The junior settled the ball before striking a right-footer past the Nighthawks goalkeeper to cap off the Saints 2-0 victory on the road.

- Dani Freire found the back of the net for the first time as a Saint while playing 55 minutes of action.
- Henry Okenla came off the bench and scored his third goal of the season, and eighth of his career.
- Xander LaBelle got his sixth start in goal this season and tallied his third clean sheet. The junior smothered all three shots on goal that he faced.
- Oliver Lindstrom led the Saints attack with two shots over 71 minutes of work. Finn Weigelt also added a shot on goal over 55 minutes of action.
- The 2-0 victory was a defensive battle as North Georgia outshot Flagler 6-5.
- With the win, the Saints added three points in league play to further extend their lead in the conference.
