ST. AUGUSTINE – The 2025 Flagler College men's soccer schedule was officially released this afternoon by head coach
Thomas Coombes. The Saints will play 18 matches with nine of those being played at Saints Field.
"After coming off a successful season in 2024," said Coombes, "we are very eager for the 2025 season to get going. We have set ourselves up with a very difficult schedule this year as we will be playing all of our regional matches against some of the strongest teams in Florida. When you factor in those matches alongside a Peach Belt Conference schedule that has quickly become one of the most competitive in the country, it should be a very exciting year."
The Saints play three-of-their-first-four matches on the road. Flagler opens the year at Barry University on Sept. 4. They stay in in south Florida to face Nova Southeastern University on Sept. 6.
The home opener is Sept. 9 against long-time rival Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Following a road match against Eckerd College of Sept. 13, the Saints host Florida Southern College on Sept. 16.
The Saints open Peach Belt Conference play at Clayton State University on Sept. 20. The Lakers finished last year raked No. 5 in the country and advanced to the NCAA Division II National Tournament quarterfinals.
Flagler hosts back-to-back conference games on Sept. 24 and Sept. 27 as it will face Lander University and Middle Georgia State University, respectively. This is Middle Georgia's first year in the league.
Road trips to Georgia Southwestern State University (Oct. 1) and the University of North Georgia (Oct. 4) opens the month of October.
USC Aiken (Oct. 8) and Clayton State (Oct. 11) follow at Saints Field.
After a pair of road games at Lander (Oct. 15) and Middle Georgia (Oct. 18), Flagler hosts Georgia Southwestern (Oct. 22) and Saint Leo University (Oct. 25).
The Saints close out the regular season by going on the road to USC Aiken (Oct. 29) and then they host North Georgia (Nov. 1).
The Peach Belt Conference Tournament begins with the first round on Nov. 8 as the entire bracket will be played on campus sites (higher seeds). The semifinals are Nov. 12 with the final on Nov. 15.
The NCAA Division II final four will be held Dec. 12-14 at Colorado Springs, Colorado.
