ST. AUGUSTINE – The Flagler College men's golf team finished the year ranked No. 40 according to the final national rankings by SCOREBOARD, powered by clippd.
The Saints had an average weighted points (AWP) score of 38.67. Flagler's season ended at the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional.
The Peach Belt Conference had six teams ranked in the top 25. The University of North Georgia was ranked No. 3 while Georgia Southwestern State University followed at No. 5. The University of South Carolina Aiken and the University of South Carolina Beaufort finished ranked Nos. 10 and 11, respectively. USCB won the PBC Tournament title. Columbus State University completed its season at No. 14 and Lander University finished at No. 17.
Seven of the top 10 were comprised of South/Southeast Region teams. The University of West Florida, the NCAA Division II national champion, was ranked No. 2 and Lincoln Memorial University was No. 4. Lee University finished at No. 8 and Florida Southern College followed at No. 9.
Colorado Christian University, the national runners-up, finished atop the computer ranking.
Nic Eberhard was the highest ranked golfer for Flagler as he finished ranked No. 126 with an AWS of 31.42.
