ST. AUGUSTINE – The Flagler College men's golf team dropped one spot to No. 34 according to the latest national rankings by SCOREBOARD, powered by clippd.
The Saints have an average weighted points (AWP) score of 40.63. Flagler is set to compete in the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional May 8-10 at Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
Flagler is one of seven Peach Belt Conference teams in the top 40. The University of North Georgia and Georgia Southwestern State University stayed at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively. USC Aiken remained No. 9 while USC Beaufort is ranked No. 12. Columbus State University held at No. 13 and Lander University stayed the same as last week at No. 16.
Half of the top 40 are comprised of South/Southeast Region teams, including seven in the top 10. The University of West Florida is ranked No. 2 while Lincoln Memorial University, North Georgia, and Georgia Southwestern follow at Nos. 3-5. Lee University moved up one to No. 7. Florida Southern College follows USC Aiken at No. 10.
Nic Eberhard is Flagler's highest ranked golfer at No. 129. He has an AWP of 31.61.
