Three Saints named USILA All-America

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The accolades continue to roll in for the Flagler College men's lacrosse team as three Saints were named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's Division II All-America teams earlier this week, according to organization officials.

Tyler Douglass led the way on the midfield line as he was named to the third team. Douglass led the Saints in goals with 37 and was second on the team in points with 41. The Peach Belt Conference Midfielder of the Year finished with 18 ground balls this season.

Trace McDonald and Brandon Grusholt were named honorable mention. McDonald is 13th in the nation in assists per game with 2.24. He tallied 38 total assists and 29 goals. McDonald averaged 3.94 points per game, placing him 38th in the nation. This season, he tied his career-high for points in one game at seven. Grusholt finished second on the team in caused turnovers with 27 and fourth in ground balls with 39. As a defender, Grusholt cored four goals, one of which came against No. 20 (USILA) Westminster University (Utah).
