Trace McDonald and
Tyler Douglass of the Flagler College men's lacrosse team were named to the USA Lacrosse Magazine Division II All-American team, which was released Friday.
For the second consecutive year the four-year old program has had at least one player named All-American.
McDonald earned honorable mention for the second time in his career. The junior attacker is 13th in assists per game with 2.24. Tallying 38 total assists and 29 goals, McDonald averaged 3.94 points per game, placing 38th in the nation. This season, McDonald tied his career-high for points in one game at seven. He scored his 200th career point and his 111th assist this season.
For the first time in his career, Douglass earned All-America honors. Named honorable mention, Douglass led the Saints in goals with 37 and was second on the team in points with 41. The Peach Belt Conference Midfielder of the Year finished his career with 157 points with most of those coming from his 121 goals. Just shy of 100 ground balls, Douglass has 90, with 18 this season.
