NEW ORLEANS, La. -
Will Stone and
Kaleb Hollins of the Flagler College men's track and field team were named United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Southeast Region earlier this week.
To earn all-region honors, an athlete must place in the top five of an event in their respective region. Flagler was represented in the 800 meter run. Stone's school record of 1:50.04 at the Peach Belt Conference Championship put him at the fastest time in the region and the 33rd fastest time in the country. Also at the conference championship, Hollins ran the fourth-fastest time in the region and 39th fastest time in the nation, at 1:50.30.
This is the first time in either of their careers that Stone and Hollins have been named all-region.
