BOONE, N.C. - The Flagler College women's track and field team finished their regular season at the App State Open, hosted by Appalachian State University, this afternoon at the Randy Marion Track & Field Facility.

The Saints competed against a mix of Division I and Division II schools. Some of their competitors were Radford University, Appalachian State University, Anderson University (S.C.) and Lincoln Memorial University.

The Saints will be back on the track in two weeks where they will compete at the Peach Belt Conference Championship held at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from April 28-29.

Abby Misch led the way as the only Saint to place first in an event. Competing in the 800 meter run, Misch crossed the line in 2:12.70. Chloe Smith led the pack in the 5000 meter run, placing second in a time of 18:07.21. Not far behind was Enola Savel who placed fourth in 18:20.47. Zoe Zinnie was the last Saint to find the podium, placing third in the 100 meter hurdles in a time of 15.43.

Aaliyah Jordan placed first for the Saints in the 400 meter hurdles, placing fourth overall in 1:08.23. In the 4x400 relay, Monique Whiteman, Zoie Marchant, Misch and Clemence Treguer placed fourth with a time of 4:06.28.
