ST. AUGUSTINE -
Carley Tepel lead No. 15 (IWLCA Division II Top 25 Poll) Flagler College with five goals in a 17-12 loss to No. 12 Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in a non-conference women's lacrosse game against this evening on the Flagler Lacrosse Field.

The Saints now sit at 2-4 for the season while the Eagles improved to 6-1. The Saints will return on Monday at noon for a home game against the University of Mount Olive.

The Eagles managed to take the lead 7-2 in the first half, with Ava Rogala scoring two of here four goals for the Eagles.

The Saints began to close the gap throughout the third quarter.
Ava Lambros scoring the equalizer with 11:53 left in the quarter, bringing the game to 7-7. Lambros scored four goals for the Saints. Tepel scored her fifth goal to give Flagler an 8-7 lead.

Despite this, the Eagles scored seven unanswered goals.

The Saints were not able to come back from this surge from the Eagles' offense, despite having their highest scoring quarter, with four goals, to end the fourth quarter.

Jenn Seebach managed to cause two turnovers and collect a groundball for the Saints defense.
Carly LaFerriere won three draw controls.

Lauren Ribadeniera made nine saves for the Saints

Ella-Rae Cox made five saves for Embry-Riddle. Callison Foreman and Eliana Enners each added three goals.
