STATESBORO, Ga. - Competing in only sprinting and field events, the Flagler College men's track and field team placed fourth overall at the Georgia Southern Relays this afternoon at Georgia Southern Eagle Field.
Finding the podium in four separate events, the Saints competed in the five different competitions, the triple jump, 4x100 meter race, 4x400 meter race, the 110 meter hurdles and the 200 meter race.
In the lone field event for the Saints,
Kruz Jimenez placed third in the triple jump 13.36 meters. In a time of 42.02
Nate Watson,
Caden Vann,
Ryan Sen, and
Malachi South placed second overall in the 4x100. The highest finishers for the day was split with Vann and South. In the 110 meter hurdles, Vann placed second in 15.22 while South finished second in the 200m at 22.10. The last event of the day was the 4x400 with
Houston Harper,
Malik Edwards,
Logan Camara and
Xander Cunningham. The 4x4 squad placed fourth in 3:17.46, tying their previous time from earlier this season.
