ST. AUGUSTINE – No. 16 (IWLCA Division II Top 25) Flagler College knocked off No. 7 University of Indianapolis 14-10 in a non-conference women's lacrosse game Saturday night at the Flagler Lacrosse Field.
The Saints improved to 5-4 while the Greyhounds now sit 4-4. The Saints will hit the road for their next game on March 22 at noon at No. 6 (NAIA Top 10) Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia.

Jessica Wright and
Ava Lambros all scored a hat trick to lead Flagler's offense in tonight's game.
Lambros' goal with 12:56 left to go in the game gave the Saints a 9-8 lead and they would not trail again.
The Greyhounds earned a one-point lead by the end of the first half thanks to a goal from Caroline Krauch in the last minute of the second quarter, ending the half 6-5. Krauch led the Greyhound offense with four goals this game.
The Greyhounds managed to score the first goal of the second half from Olivia Bladon.
However, the Saints defense shut them out the rest of the quarter while their offense went on to score three unanswered goals, one from Onega and two from Wright. This brought the Saints into an 8-7 lead going into the fourth quarter.
The Saints truly began to pull away in the fourth quarter, on four-goal run at the with two goals from Lambros, one from
Ella Pinder, and one
Carley Tepel to secure their lead.
Although they fell short in the end, Greyhound goalie Ava Graham stood out with 14 saves. Sage Da Silva and Olivia Bladon each scored two goals and added an assist.
The Saints defense shined brightly tonight with
Carly LaFerriere winning five draw controls and causing two turnovers. Goalie
Lauren Ribadeneira made 13 saves.
