Saints finish in fourth place and Hanely ties for sixth place

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The Flagler College women's golf team finished in fourth place with a 37-over par 901 (295-302-304) at the St. Simons Intercollegiate, which wrapped up today at the King & Prince Golf Club (par 72; 5,801 yards).

Flagler's Tabitha Hanely had her second top 10 finish in her career as she finished in a tie for sixth place with a 3-over 219 (71-71-77).

Wingate University coasted to the title with a 7-under 857 (290-285-282) to top the 18-team field. The University of West Florida finished in a distant second place with a 26-over 890 (294-297-299). Lander University finished in third place with a 30-over 894 (306-296-292). Carson-Newman followed Flagler in fifth place with a 38-over 292 (305-295-302).

Amely Bochaton of Wingate earned medalist honors with a 7-under 209 (72-70-67) to finish at the top of the 99-woman field. Eve Neild of Lenoir-Rhyne University followed in second place with a 2-under 214 (75-67-72). Three more Wingate players rounded out the top five.

Sofia Terzoli, who led the field after 36 holes, finished in 11th place with a 5-over 221 (69-71-81). Victoria Veator tied for 28th place with a 12-over 228 (76-78-74). Addison King tied for 50th place with a 17-over 233 (79-82-72). Ida Petersen rounded out the five Flagler team members at 41-over. Halahn Lee carded a 23-over as an individual.
