Saints finish in ninth place at the National Preview and McKain tied for 11th

BOULDER CITY, Nev. – The Flagler College men's golf team finished in ninth place with a 12-under par 852 (293-283-276) at the National Preview, which ended play today at the Boulder Creek Golf Club (par 72; 7,421 yards).

The Saints recorded their fourth-best round in program history with a 12-under 276 in today's final round. The 54-hole score (852) put up by Flagler ranked sixth in its history and the score relative to par (-12) ranked fifth.

The next tournament for Flagler is the Copperhead Championship (Oct. 13-14) at Palm Harbor, Florida.

Lynn University jumped into first place and topped the 17-team field with a 28-under 836 (284-275-277). Midwestern State University followed in second place with a 26-under 838 (287-271-280). Missouri S&T finished in third place with a 23-under 841 (291-272-278). Cal State East Bay carded a 22-under 842 (281-279-282) to finish in fourth place. There was a three-way tie for fifth place.

Seth Bearden of Midwestern State topped the 93-man field with a 13-under 203 (68-67-68). Aaron Parayno of Cal State San Bernardino and Isaac To of Missouri S&T tied for second place with an 11-under 205.

Masen McKain led the Saints with a 7-under 209 (75-66-68) and finished in a tie for 11th place. Nic Eberhard carded a 1-under 215 (73-74-68) and tied for 29th place. PJ Herron tied for 39th place with an even par 216 (73-69-74). Dylan Mason (+3) and Lucas Escudero (+4) finished in ties for 54th and 59th place, respectively. Rocco Randazzo, playing as an individual, tied for 68th place at 6-over.
