CHAMPIONSGATE, Fla. – The Flagler College men's golf team finished in fourth place after carding a 7-over par 871 (289-292-290) at the Citrus Intercollegiate, which completed this afternoon at the ChampionsGate Golf Club (par 72; 7,076 yards).

Flagler's Nic Eberhard had his second top five finish of the season as he shot a 5-under 211 (68-71-72) to finish in fifth place. He had 12 birdies in the 54-hole tournament to go along with 32 pars. Eberhard had an eagle in the first round on the par-5, 533-yard No. 8 hole.

No. 6 (SCOREBOARD Division II ranking) Florida Southern College topped the 14-team field with a 14-under 850 (282-276-292). Barry University followed in second place with a 9-under 855 (298-278-279). Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University followed in third place with a 4-over 868 (290-290-288).

Eduardo Matarazzo of Barry led the 75-man field with a 13-under 203 (73-65-65). Bruno Marques of Nova Southeastern University finished one stroke back with a 12-under 204 (69-69-66). Colton Swartz of Florida Southern finished in third place with an 8-under 208 (68-66-74) while Yann Ferrando of Keiser University followed with a 7-under 209 (72-68-69).  

PJ Herron finished in a tie for 21^st place with a 3-over 219 (74-71-74). Masen McKain carded a 5-over 221 (73-72-76). Rocco Randazzo (+11) and Grant Fisher (+13) rounded out the team.

That concludes the fall season for Flagler.
