AUGUSTA, Ga. – Flagler College's Filip Hornburg was selected as the Peach Belt Conference's Defender of the Week, according to a press release this afternoon by conference officials.

Hornburg is the third Flagler defender to receive the weekly honor as he joins Jesse van Krimpen (Sept. 15) and Daniel Becerra (Sept. 22).

The freshman from Oslo, Norway logged 180 minutes last week and helped the Saints post a 1-0-1 record. He scored a goal and was part of a defense that allowed just two goals on 26 shots with 10 of those being on frame.
