Philipp Lemken of the men's tennis team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending May 19.

The Kaarst Germany native went a perfect 2-0 in both singles and doubles to help the Saints advance to the Round of 16. Against the University of Mount Olive, Lemken and Simon Malis, the No. 37-ranked tandem in the country, clinched the doubles point for Flagler with a 6-3 win. Later, in singles play, Lemken clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Kabir Chhabria. In the preliminary round final against Wingate,  Lemken and Malis won the lone double match for the Saints and then his win at No. 5 singles, 6-2 and 7-6(4), tied the match at 2-all, and Flagler went on to win the match, 4-2.
