AUGUSTA, Ga. – No. 7 (Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Division II Top 25) Flagler College rolled to a 7-0 victory over Augusta University in a Peach Belt Conference women's tennis match Saturday afternoon at the Newman Tennis Center.
Flagler ends the regular season with a 12-4 overall record and a 5-1 mark in the Peach Belt. The Saints claim a share of its third consecutive league title. Flagler shared in 2022 and won the PBC outright last year. Augusta University dropped to 11-6 overall and 2-4 in conference play. Both teams will await the seeding for the PBC Tournament, which begins on April 26 at Columbus, Georgia.

Dana Heimen and
Nadja Meier ran their record this spring to 10-1 with a 6-4 victory over Andrea Gonzalez and Juliana Martinez to start the doubles competition.
Toni Pfeiffer and
Laura Jipescu followed with a 6-4 win over Priscilla Landi and Giovanna Patrocinio to clinch the point.
Leonie Floeth and
Charlotta Buss won their match 7-6(3).
Meier, ranked No. 2 in the country, raised her record this spring to 12-3 with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph over Madeline Frediani to clinch the match for Flagler. All of the singles matches were won in straight sets. Heimen, ranked No. 70, cruised to a 6-1, 6-2 win while Buss posted a 6-1, 6-0 victory. Floeth defeated Landi 6-4 and 6-4 and Kruk coasted to a 6-2, 6-2 win. Jipescu won 6-3 and 6-1.
