ST. AUGUSTINE – Flagler College's
Trace McDonald was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA)/Blatant Division II National Team of the Week as announced by the organization Tuesday evening.
McDonald, in one game, scored six goals, tallied three assists, for nine points against No. 17 Colorado Mesa University. The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native added three ground balls and three caused turnovers to his line. McDonald almost led comeback from 10-4 but came up short 12-11. He has been steady all year, and just became the second member of the 100-point club at Flagler, and he did it in just 27 games.
Flagler hosts The University of Alabama in Huntsville on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Flagler Lacrosse Field.
