ORLANDO, Fla. – The Flagler College women's outdoor track and field team competed at the UCF Knights Invite on Friday and Saturday at the UCF Soccer and Track Complex.
The Saints had entries in the 200m, 800m, 1500m and 5000m. As well as field entries in the shot put.
The best finish for the Saints came in the 1500m with
Abby Misch finishing in 12th with a time of 4.38.54. Following her was
Clemence Treguer (4:41.56) in 18th,
Eden Goddard (4:55.63) in 40th,
Riley Carter (5:21.56) in 65th and
Vivian Brezler (5:23.48) in 66th.
In the 800m,
Maddi Hood finished 18th with a time of 2:17.51. Two more finished in the top 50,
Kiki Wine (2:25.24) in 38th and Mattison Culver (2:27.98) in 47th.
Natalie Dempsey finished in 55th with a time of 2:30.69.
Meredith Czajkowski ran in the 200m and finished 85th with a time of 27.22.
Two Saints ran in the 5000m:
Sam Gayton finished in 13th with a time of 19:05.28 and
Mallory Robinson in 16th with a time 19:27.24.
Makinzie Luhrsen finished 33rd in the shot put with a 9.74m mark.
The Saints split up and head to Daytona Beach, Fla. for the Embry-Riddle Running Elements Classic (March 28-30) and to Raleigh, N.C. for the Raleigh Relays on March 28-30.
