Women's Track and Field competes at Bob Hayes Invitational

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Flagler College women's outdoor track and field team competed at the Bob Hayes Invitational in Jacksonville, Fla. on Friday and Saturday.
  
The Saints had entries in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m and 5000m. As well as field entries in the high jump, long jump, shot put, discus and javelin.
 
Freshmen Zoe Zinnie (13.13) and Madison Miller (13.16) ran in the 100m dash finishing in 17th and 19th, respectively. Zinnie also finished 26th in the 200m dash with a time of 27.64. In the 400m, Meredith Czajkowski finished with a time of 1:05.96 to earn 11th place.
 
Taylor Stone earned a personal-best in the 800m and hit the NCAA Division II provisional mark with a time of 2:09.60. Maddi Hood placed fifth with a time of 2:18.59 and behind her was Abby Misch in sixth with a time of 2:19.51.
 
Four Saints ran in the 1500m with Marissa Kempf (4:57.03) and Kiki Wine (5:01.43) finishing in the top 15 at 13th and 14th, respectively. Mattison Culver placed 17th with a time of 5:06.22 and Isabella Sibbrell in 25th with a time of 5:16.13.
 
The 5000m saw nine Saints compete with Monique Whiteman and Megan Churchill finishing in the top five. Whiteman placed third with a time of 17:23.17 and Churchill behind her in fifth with a time of 17:29.81. Rounding out the top 25 were Hope Siner (18:24.77) in 14th, Chloe Smith (18:25.79) in 16th, Enola Savel (18:27.71) in 17th and Clemence Treguer (18:46.93) in 21st. Other finishers for the Saints: Zoie Marchant (19:04.05), Francesca Pece (19:06.30) and Jessie Gates (19:07.22).
 
In the field events, Zoe Zinnie placed 11th in the high jump with a 1.45m mark and 14th in the long jump with a 4.77m jump. In 18th was Chelsea Paglia (4.65m) and Czajkowski (4.36m) placing 27th. Luhrsen competed in the shot put, discus and javelin for the Saints. She placed 11th in both shot put and javelin, throwing 10.22m in the shot put and 20.02m in javelin. She finished 15th in the discus with a 30.33m mark.

The Saints travel to Orlando, Fla. for the UCF Knights Invite on March 15-16.
