NEWBERRY, S.C.- Four players each scored four goals as No. 8 (IWLCA Division II Top 25) Flagler College defeated Newberry College 22-12 this afternoon at Seltzer Field.

This is Flagler's seventh win in a row bringing them to 9-1 overall. Newberry dropped to 4-5. The Saints will return on March 19 at 5 p.m. for a home game against Frostburg State University.

Eight different Saints found the back of the net today in their high-scoring offense. However,
Claudia Tanksley,
Carley Tepel,
Ella Pinder and
Sydney Onega all stood out with four goals each. Onega added three assists.

The first half ended 9-6 in Flagler's favor, however, Newberry began to close the gap in the third quarter with Serena Elias scoring to tie it at 11 with 3:30 left in the quarter. The Saints managed to pull away scoring nine consecutive goals.

Tristan Usher sealed the deal scoring the final goal of the game to bring the Saints to their 10-point win. She finished with two goals and three assists.

Carly LaFerriere stood out in the midfield for the Saints winning seven draw controls in addition to scoring two goals.

The Saints defense did well with
Jenn Seebach causing three turnovers and collecting five ground balls. Goalie
Lauren Ribadeneira had eight saves and a ground ball.

Wolves goalies Kaitlyn LaManna and Jess Cheyenne made two saves each. Five different Newberry players scored two goals apiece.
