ST. AUGUSTINE -
Carly LaFerriere scored five goals and added an assist to aid the No. 8 (IWLCA Division II Top 25 Poll) Flagler College to a 20-10 victory over Frostburg State University Tuesday evening at the Flagler Lacrosse Field.

The Saints move up to 10-1 overall with this being their eighth consecutive win. The Bobcats now sit 4-4. The Saints will return on March 23 at 3 p.m. to face No. 16 Lynn University at home.
After Frostburg State tied the game at 4-all near the end of the first quarter, Flagler pulled away with six consecutive goals, five of those coming in the second quarter.
Carley Tepel started the period with an uninterrupted hat trick. She finished with four goals.
Although they fell short, the Bobcats kept a close game throughout the first quarter with Kerri Hayes scoring two of their four goals. She finished with three goals. Emily Lamoreaux added three goals and an assist.

Greta McGinnis also stood out for the Saints winning 10 draw controls. LaFerriere added two ground balls, caused a turnover, and won six draw controls.

The Frostburg State defense held out with goalie Nicole Gray making 15 saves, collecting four ground balls, and credited for causing a turnover.

Saints goalie Lauren Ribadeniera had two recorded saves.
