GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Flagler women's track and field team placed third at the 2024 Peach Belt Conference Indoor Championships, held at the Alachua County Events Center at Celebration Pointe on Monday. The top three finishers in each event earned all-conference honors.
The Saints collected 71 points. Embry-Riddle scored 258 points to finish in first place, followed by Central State University in second with 99 points.
"We took another step forward as individuals in our respective events, but a much more meaningful step toward becoming a unified group," said head coach and director of cross country/track,
Brian Beil. "There were some great performances today, of course, but I was most pleased with the way our men and women showed up for each other when it was needed. Sometimes our sport can feel like a collection of individuals doing their own thing. Today I saw a team."
