GREENWOOD, S.C. –

This was Flagler's eighth tournament championship win and its first since 2022.
Flagler has won 9-of-its-last-10 matches and improved to 14-10. The Saints beat the Jaguars three times this season. Augusta lost to Flagler for the third time this year and dropped to 20-7. Flagler received the PBC's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament while Augusta will see if it receives an at-large berth when the field is announced on Monday at 7:30 p.m. The NCAA Division II Southeast Regional will be held Dec. 5-8.
Berglin took home tournament most valuable player honors after recording 38 kills with 10 errors on 83 swings for a .337 hitting percentage in the two matches.
Molly Boyd and
Clare Sheedy joined Berglin on the all-tournament team. Others on the all-tournament team were Jada Suguturaga of Augusta, Madde Blake of Lander University, and Kaitlyn Rodriguez of USC Aiken.

The first set saw nine ties and six lead changes. Augusta took an 18-17 lead on a double-block by Suguturaga and Lauren Posa. But the serve that followed was an error and that started a 5-0 run by the Saints. An attack error by Augusta followed and Boyd had an ace to force a Jaguar timeout. Coming out of the break, Stempkowski and
Cassidy Bloom had a double-block and another attack error by Augusta capped the spurt. Berglin hit .818 in the set with nine kills on 11 errorless swings.
In the second set, back-to-back kills by Berglin gave Flagler an 8-7 lead and one they would not relinquish. The Jaguars remained close and trailed late 21-20. However, a kill by Boyd and an attack error gave the Saints enough breathing room.
Flagler never trailed in the third set and team hit a robust .417 with 20 kills and five errors on 36 swings. Berglin was dominant again with eight kills on 11 errorless swings for a .727 hitting percentage. Sheedy tallied 18 assists.
