TAMPA, Fla. – Flagler College and the University of Tampa played 90 minutes without either team scoring a goal in a non-conference men's soccer match Saturday night at Pepin Stadium.
Flagler is now 1-4-2 while Tampa is 1-2-4.
Ryan Rivas made his collegiate debut and recoded two saves for the Saints. Salvador Ribera turned away three shots for the Spartans.
Flagler outshot Tampa 8-5 and held an 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.
The Saints return to Peach Belt Conference play with a match at Georgia Southwestern State University on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Hurricane Field.
