AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Flagler College volleyball team lost to Augusta University 21-25, 17-25, 18-25 to start off the conference season Friday evening at the Christenberry Fieldhouse.
Augusta improved to 10-3 overall and earned the first conference win of the season in the Peach Belt. Flagler is now 2-10 overall and 0-1 in league play.
Jordan Berglin led the Saints with 8 kills and also posted 8 digs.
Audrey Simmons and
Molly Boyd added six kills each, while Boyd put up 3 blocks and Simmons with two.
Lainee Mack led with 11 assists and
Edie Lamoreaux dug up 15 balls.
Jazmyn Wheeler was the leader for the Jaguars with 15 kills. Janvier Buggs posted a double-double with 23 assists and 12 digs, also adding 3 aces and 4 blocks.
Flagler will face Augusta again tomorrow at 3 p.m. at Christenberry Fieldhouse.
