ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Flagler volleyball team is ranked first in the Southeast Region and leads all Peach Belt Conference (PBC) teams in the NCAA Division II National Power Index (NPI) rankings.
The Saints hold a 20-2 overall record and a 9-0 mark in PBC play, sitting at first place in the conference.
Flagler leads both the Southeast Region and PBC in the NPI rankings, sitting at No. 9 nationally with a rating of 64.697, ahead of USCA, which ranks third in the region and second in conference and No. 49 nationally with a rating of 57.840.
The NPI is a new ranking system adopted by Division II for the 2026-27 academic year to help evaluate teams for NCAA Tournament selection. The system uses a data-driven formula that considers a team's wins and losses, strength of schedule and quality of opponents.
Flagler leads one PBC program ranked among the top 10 in the Southeast Region. USCA follows at No. 49 nationally to round out the conference representation. Flagler sits 6.857 points ahead of USCA.
The Saints are back-in-action with a non-conference matchup as they will host Florida Tech on Tuesday, October 20th at 6 p.m. for the Saints annual dig pink match. Flagler will return to PBC action this weekend with a pair of road matches, beginning Friday, October 23, at Augusta University at 6 p.m. and another Augusta matchup on Saturday October 24th at 1 p.m.
