DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Flagler College women's tennis opened the fall season at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Open, which was held Friday through Sunday (Sept. 15-17) at the Crotty Tennis Center.
Nadja Meier won both of her singles matches over the weekend. She defeated Maja Issler (6-2, 6-4) and Itxaso Blanco (6-4, 6-4). Both opponents play for Embry-Riddle.
Charlotta Buss, Addison S. Breunich, and Toni Pfieffer each split their two matches.
In doubles, Buss and
Eryka Kruk went 1-1 while
Laura Jipescu and former Flagler player Anika Nissen also went 1-1.
Flagler will prepare for the ITA Southeast Regional, which will be held Sept. 22-25 at Sumter, South Carolina.
