MELBOURNE, Fla. –
Marcus Hedemann scored his second goal of the season in Flagler College's 2-1 loss to No. 5 (United Soccer Coaches) Florida Tech in a non-conference men's soccer match at Rick Stottler Field.
Flagler is now 0-2-1 while Florida Tech is 3-0-1.
Hedemann's goal came in the 58
th minute as he scored off a
Max Gottwald pass.
Osvaldo Santana scored a pair of first half goals for the Panthers.
Flagler's
Kevin Harr tallied a season-high seven saves. Iker Bastida had three saves for Florida Tech.
The Panthers out-shot the Saints 13-6 and had a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
Flagler opens Peach Belt Conference play on Wednesday at USC Aiken at Pacer Pit at 4 p.m.
