AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Flagler College men's golf team shot a 15-over par 879 (290-294-295) to finish in fourth place at the Peach Belt Conference Championship, which ended today at the Forest Hills Golf Club (par 72; 7,086 yards).

Nic Eberhard had his second top 10 finish as he finished in a tie for seventh place with a 1-over 217 (75-69-73). His second round 69 yesterday was a season-best. Eberhard, a freshman, had 10 birdies in the tournament, and had an eagle in the second round.

No. 7 (Golfstat Division II relative ranking) Georgia Southwestern State University won the title by six strokes with a 6-under 858 (291-287-280). No. 4 University of North Georgia finished second with an even par 864 (287-293-284).

Nicolas Escobar of Georgia Southwestern earned medalist honors as he led the 45-man field with a 5-under 211 (73-68-70). He edged out Stephen Kinsel of North Georgia who carded a 4-under 212 (69-72-71). Evan Thompson of North Georgia finished in third place at 2-under while Linus Jonsson of Lander University and Erik Olin of USC Aiken tied for fourth at 1-under. The top five took home all-tournament honors.

Nic Whittaker and Franco Piovano finished in a tie for 17^th place with a 6-over 222. Whittaker finished the tourney with 36 pars, which was tied for third-best. Felix Villamil finished with a 7-over 223, which had him tied for 22^nd place. Joel Petersson finished in a tie for 28^th place with a 9-over 225.
