WINTER PARK, Fla. –
Justin Haskins and
Tim Kudlinski led the hit parade with three apiece as Flagler College pounded out a season-high 17 hits in a 16-3 rout of Notre Dame College Wednesday night at Alfond Stadium at Harper-Shepherd Field.
Flagler improved to 4-14 overall while Notre Dame (0-6) is searching for its first win.
After the Falcons took a 1-0 lead with an unearned run in the first, the Saints would erupt for 11 runs over the next three innings to take control of the game.
A dropped fly ball by the Falcons left fielder led to three unearned runs in the second inning.
Jaxson Wentworth and
Mason Gray had back-to-back RBI singles.
Flagler added three more in the third and sent 10 men to the plate in the fourth where the Saints scored five runs on six hits.
Jaiden Warde, Haskins and Kudlinski hit back-to-back-to-back RBI doubles.
The Saints capped their scoring with a five-run seventh and Gray completed the onslaught with a two-run double.
Seth Wysocki (2-2) got the win on the hill for Flagler. He scattered two hits, allowed an unearned run and struck out three in four innings of work.

Jace Thomas and
Brad Vondruska finished the game. Vondruska pitched two scoreless innings, allowed one hit and fanned three.
Kudlinski went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run batted in and he scored three runs. Haskins went 3-for-4 with a double, four runs scored and one RBI. Wentworth collected two singles, was hit by a pitch twice, and drove in three runs. Gray singled, doubled and knocked in three runs.
Alec Mendoza (0-2) allowed six earned runs on nine hits in 3.1 innings pitched for Notre Dame College.
Devin Minney hit a two-run single in the sixth inning.
Flagler steps back into Peach Belt Conference play as it begins a three-game series at USC Aiken starting on Friday.
