ST. AUGUSTINE – Flagler College jumped out to an early 3-0 lead, but Young Harris College rallied to score three runs in the third inning and had the game-ending run score on a wild pitch to win 4-3 in a Peach Belt Conference softball game Sunday afternoon at the YHC Softball Field.
Young Harris improved to 8-14 overall and 2-4 in the Peach Belt. Flagler is now 7-10 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
The Saints opened the scoring with a pair of runs in the second.
Jordan Moss' infield single produced one of the runs and the other came on a YHC error.
Paige Maseda hit a lead off home run in the third to stake Flagler to a 3-0 lead.
Young Harris pushed across three unearned runs in the home half of the third to tie the score.
In the bottom of the seventh, Bailee Brown led off with a walk and advanced all the way to third on Aubrey Bourrie's bunt single to third base. Brown scored on a wild pitch to end the game.
Jill Dixon (2-2) tossed one-third of an inning as she retired the only batter she faced on one pitch.
Brown collected two singles and scored two runs for Young Harris.
Mallory Forrester (0-2) took the loss in the circle for Flagler. She allowed one run on two hits in three-plus innings of work. Forrester walked two and struck out three.
Maseda went 2-for-4 with the solo home run.

Flagler hosts Lees-McRae College on Wednesday for a non-conference doubleheader at 1 p.m. at Flagler Field.
