ST. AUGUSTINE. – Tyler Douglas and
Antanas Mikuzis scored four goals each leading Flagler College men's lacrosse to its first Peach Belt Conference win of the season against the University of Montevallo. The Saints outscored the Falcons 15-9 this afternoon.
The Saints now sit 3-8 overall and 1-0 in conference play as the Falcons bump down to 0-1 in conference and 7-5 overall.
The Saints and Falcons kept it close in the first quarter keeping it tied 2-2, however the Siants started to pull away in the second quarter starting the period off with three goals in a row from
Garrett McNulty, Mikuzis, and
John Kersey. The Falcons did fire back scoring three more goals in the second quarter. The Saints ended the first half leading 10-5 and did not relinquish their lead for the rest of the game.
Despite falling short in the end, Falcons goalie, Alex Egorshin had a stand out performance with 16 saves and Trevayne Hunter led offensively with three goals.

Garrett Moore at the start of the fourth quarter allowed McDonald to tie the program record for points in a season with 38 points.

Nate Lehr held down the defensive end with 16 saves. Lehr also broke his own record for saves in a single season, with 118 saves.
Blake Gonzalez and Douglas also helped the Saints causing three turnovers apiece.
Jake Griffin also had a stellar performance, picking up 11 ground balls and winning 16 face-offs.
Next up for the Saints is another PBC matchup on the road on April 1 at 11 a.m. against Young Harris College.
