Box Score LAKELAND, Fla. – Members of the Flagler College women's tennis team triumphed at the two-day Florida Southern College Invitational, which concluded Sunday at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center.

Flagler posted a 17-2 record in singles and an 8-3 mark in doubles. Charlotta Buss, Dana Heimen, Luisa Hrda, Laura Jipescu and Nadja Meier all went 3-0 in singles play. Heimen and Meier posted a 3-0 record as a doubles team.

The matches served as the team's final tune-up for the opening of the 2023 season, which begins Saturday against No. 25 (ITA Collegiate Division II rankings) Newberry College at 11 a.m. at the Flagler Tennis Center. The Saints are ranked No. 5.
