Women's Tennis Finishes the Season Ranked No. 14

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - In the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association(ITA) national poll of the 2025-26 season, Flagler College came in ranked No. 14, per organization officials released earlier this week.

Since the last ranking, Flagler moved up one ranking. In singles, two Saints finished ranked in the top-30. Within the Southeast Region, Flagler finished ranked No. 3 and was the second highest Peach Belt Conference affiliated team. Since 2019, Flagler has finished within the ITA Top-25 at the conclusion of the spring season. Since 2020 Flagler has had two Saints finished ranked in singles. Sophomore transfer Elena Ondobo was the highest ranked Saint in the poll, landing at No. 13. Senior Eryka Kruk cracked the top-25, landing at No. 23.

Since the last ranking was released the Saints competed in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional. After defeated No. 11 Wingate University 4-2, the Saints season ended in the second round of the tournament. This win over No. 11 tied the Saints highest win on the season as they defeated No. 11 University of North Georgia, 4-3 on Mar. 27.

Ondobo finished as the highest winning Saint this season, posting a 19-4 record in dual matches, with four matches going unfinished. Through the season, Ondobo played at court two entirely and finished with a 12 match win streak. Her final two matches went unfinished.

Kruk finished season on a five match win streak. Playing on court one, Kruk's final two matches saw her get one win and one match go unfinished. In her last win against Claudia Vallejos of Wingate, Kruk defeated the Bulldog 6-0 and 6-2. This is the first time in Kruk's career she finished ranked in the final ITA poll.
