The Saints took the early lead in set one at 12-6, but the Bobcats would make a six-point run to earn the only tie score of the set. Back to back kills by Boyd and errors from the Bobcats put Flagler back in the lead. A service ace from Mack would make it 23-19 and a kill by Cassidy Bloom would give the Saints set point. GCSU took one last point of the set before a kill by Berglin would end it 25-21.

The Bobcats came back strong in the second set, taking a major lead at 23-13. The Saints were able to fight back to make it a closer 25-16, but the Bobcats would take set two in their column. Set three was close to start things off, but five consecutive points for Flagler would put the Saints ahead 15-10. A kill by Berglin started a four-point streak to make it 19-11, the Saints would go on to take six straight points to end the set 25-12. The run consisted of kills by Berglin, Audrey Simmons and Fleming, while Berglin added a service ace in there as well.

The final set looked to go in favor of the Bobcats as they held a 20-14 lead. A kill by Simmons and an error from GCSU gave the Saints two more points, while the Bobcats added another. Back to back kills from Simmons put Flagler only three points behind, but the Bobcats earned two more points of their own.
