MORROW, Ga. – 
Destiny McClendon led Flagler College with 16 points and 
Sharale McCormick added 13 more in an 82-63 loss to Anderson University at the SAC-PBC Challenge Friday afternoon at The Loch and Mason Barfield Court.
This was the season opener for both teams. Flagler takes on UVA Wise tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. to conclude the tournament.
The Trojans opened the game on a 10-0 run and took a 26-16 lead at the end of the first quarter.
A 
Dane Bertolina three-pointer to open the second quarter sparked an 8-0 run by the Saints to trim the deficit to two points (26-24).
But a 15-2 run in the third quarter by Anderson pushed its lead to 20 points (60-40).
Brittney Stafford scored a game-high 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Trojans. Zamiya Passmore added 19 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and four steals. Diamond McDowell recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Nelliah Wilson also finished with a double-double as she had 10 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.
Bertolina grabbed a team-high seven rebounds for the Saints. 
Jessica Dowdy came off the bench to add nine points. 
Se'Lah Reddick scored seven points, grabbed six rebounds, dished out four assists, and tallied three steals.
